Toilet Repair in Stockholm, NJ
Most homes in Stockholm were built before 1990 and most of them are owner-occupied, which is the combination where a toilet is both likely to be old and definitely yours to deal with.
Short version
Owner-occupiers hold 91% of the occupied homes in Stockholm. For most households there the toilet is theirs outright, so the repair can be arranged directly without a landlord, an agent or a lease in the way. With 92% of the housing built before 1990, a fixture predating the 1.6 gallon standard may still be in place; the figure describes the building rather than the bathroom.

What the age of Stockholm’s housing suggests
Stockholm is old housing by this measure — 92% of its 1,220 housing units predate 1990, and 2% were built before 1940. Anything installed new in those homes was a pre-standard fixture at 3.5 gallons or more, against 1.6 today.
Plenty of them have been changed since, and this data cannot tell you whether yours has. It tells you what the odds are for the street rather than the room.

What is actually wrong with it
Work from the symptom rather than the fixture. Continuous running has a ten-minute test that settles it; water at the base is identified by when it appears rather than where; and a handle that does nothing is visible the moment the tank lid is off.
If you are quoted for a new fixture, ask what ruled out the parts. Flappers and fill valves are inexpensive and account for most of what goes wrong, so replacing the toilet without testing them has skipped a step.
